Godalming is situated between London and Portsmouth in some of the finest countryside in southern England. Its narrow, attractive streets, lined with many ancient and historic buildings, lie above the meadows of the River Wey.

road

The Manor House is conveniently located only 2 miles from the A3. Just 12 miles to the north is the M25 (junction 10) and there is also easy access to the M3 and M4 motorways.

taxi

Taxis are available locally. In Godalming, we recommend Ajax on 01483 414718, Lotus Taxis on 01483 418686, or C & C Taxis on 01483 415866. Beeline, based in Guildford, are a larger company, but will charge for collections from Godalming.Their number is 01483 823232.

rail

Two railway stations, Godalming and Farncombe lie within a mile. They provide frequent and fast services to London Waterloo and Portsmouth, both 45 minutes away. There are taxis at both stations, but the service is more limited from Farncombe.

The nearest mainline station is in Guildford, approximately 6 miles from the Manor House.

air

The two major London airports, Heathrow and Gatwick, are both within one hour's drive.
