green meetings

We think all meetings should be green meetings and the Manor House is recognised by the Green Tourism Business Scheme (GTBS) to be an environmentally friendly organisation. It seems natural to us that our ethos should be reflected in the meeting packages we offer and we’re sure you agree.

Unlike some of our competitors, we don’t think you should be charged for helping to do your bit, so at the Manor House, green is the standard colour of all our meeting packages and there is absolutely no extra charge to pay.

When you hold your meeting at the Manor House, you will always get:

A meeting room with plenty of natural daylight and adjustable heating controls.

Recycling bins for paper.

Filtered still and sparkling water for the tables.

Fairtrade coffee that is also certified by the Rainforest Alliance.

Home made meals, with a seasonal flavour where possible, but always made from ingredients that are locally grown or sourced.

Recycled writing paper and flip chart pads and the availability of recycled pencils.
