The Manor House team is made up of a dedicated group of individuals who all care about delivering the best possible service and ensuring that a visit to the Manor House is an enjoyable experience for every guest. There isn’t room to name everyone but here are a few key team members who you may, or may not, get to meet when you visit.

Howard Canning

Centre Manager

With nearly three decades of experience in hotels large and small, Howard started work as Centre Manager in 2001. He is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Manor House and takes an active role in maintaining its high standards and friendly, flexible approach.

Jeyson Fosbury

Facilities Manager

With experience of all aspects of the building trade, Jeyson is ideally qualified for the demanding role of Facilities Manager. As well as being responsible for the general upkeep of the building, Jeyson also oversees and is involved in larger projects. To date, these have included a complete refurbishment of 13 bedrooms and the creation of Smiths bar & lounge.

Lisa Johnson

Food and Beverage Manager

Lisa joined the Manor House in 2005. She began her career in hospitality working in hotels, aged just fifteen. She then moved on to outside caterering, specialising in large, outdoor events. Subsequently, Lisa worked in London running the conference, banqueting and private dining operations of a number of exclusive members’ clubs.

Sylwia Boniek

Front of House Manager

Sylwia joined the Manor House in 2008 as Senior Receptionist and was promoted to Front of House Manager in 2009. She brings with her a long experience in customer service from various job roles, having previously worked at two hotels in Scotland. Sylwia's responsibilities range from managing the reception and housekeeping departments to overseeing the night team at the Manor House.

Nick Jeffels

Head Chef

Nick has been part of the team for nearly three years and has a strong focus on using as much fresh, sustainable, local produce as possible. In a small venue he can offer bespoke menus to suit clients’ individual needs, ensuring a unique gastronomic experience for all. Nick and his team also pride themselves on being able to cater for guests with an array of dietary needs, making sure that everybody can enjoy really good food.

Kerrie Millard

Sales and Marketing Manager

Kerrie joined the Manor House in March 2008 as Food and Beverage Manager and after a short but successful period running the restaurant and bar moved on to the sales department. Responsible for marketing the Manor House, Kerrie's previous experience running hotels gives her an enviable overview and knowledge, which she is also able to use when helping clients with bookings.
